A “cool” morning awaited us today. My dogs loved their brisk walk. And afterwards I decided to go and take pictures of typical Tucson things. My trip went from St. Mary’s to the Barrio Viajo/ Barrio Libre to The 4th Avenue shopping area.
Mt. Lemmon
Posted in Mountain with tags Mt. Lemmon, Tucson, Windy Point on August 3, 2009 by wtrunMe and my friend Judy decided to beat the heat of the Old Pueblo Saturday and drove to Mt. Lemmon. While it was 105 in Tucson it was a good 20+ degrees less in Summerville at the top of the mountain.

Earlier this week, sitting at my desk checking my e-mail, movement from outside caught my attention. There walking across my yard was a large family of javelinas, young and old. I grabbed my camera and quickly snapped this image before they scurried away.
